Why wouldn't a witness to such an horrific accident stick around to give a statement to Police? Could it be that they were drunk too? Are there people driving drunk in both directions through Menlo Park?

It could also be someone who is undocumented who would be understandably afraid of coming forward. An example of why it is short-sighted for ALL of us, documented and undocumented, when police are expected to report to the INS undocumented folks, and when we refuse to issue driver's licenses to undocumented folks. I am NOT saying that is the case this time, just that it could be. I am glad Governor Brown recently signed a law to issue driver's licenses once again to everyone who resides in California.

Anyone who wishes to donate to this cause can go to any Wells Fargo Bank. They have a means to accept contributions. I will miss her smiling face!
