Truth Is Offensive

Paul Craig Roberts
Natural News

Dr. Paul Craig Roberts is the father of Reaganomics and the former head of policy at the Department of Treasury. He is a columnist and was previously the editor of the Wall Street Journal. His latest book, How the Economy Was Lost: The War of the Worlds, details why America is disintegrating.

Read it and tell me do you think of it?

"the father of Reaganomics"

Reagonomics? Isn't that where Reagan tripled the national debt, from 900 mill to 2.7 trillion?

And had the largest working class tax increase in history when he doubled the payroll tax? One of 11 Reagan tax hikes, all hitting the middle class while shoveling loot to the wealthy?

Why would anyone read a freak like that, someone who constantly attacks the middle class working American, on a silly fringe, tinfoil hat website like NN or infowars?

being the father of Reaganomics is nothing to brag about, rather something to be ashamed of. Supply side economics were ridiculous in that just because a lot of product is produced, there really is no guarantee the product will be bought. That was so naive, along the lines of "if you build it, they will come".

Why would I want to read anything by this clown?

the article wasn't about Reagan. As for your comment about Reaganomics, I don't know that Paul would say the Reagan Administration did a good job on the economy front either. Paul was an advisor. He wasn't President. After all, Reagan promised to downsize government (EX. He said he would get rid of the Dept. of Education and the Dept. of Energy during his campaign and he did neither in 8 years.) This article was about how the "truth" is considered a bad word these days. I suggest you read the article before you make another comment.

Food: Thanks for the suggestion!

I generally don't read infowars and Alex Jones until I reach a state of paranoia that has me seeing black helicopters and thinking the moon landing was faked, the grassy knoll was real, and 9/11 was an inside job.

Crazy conspiracy theories just take too much out of me during the work day. Much better to consume that trash late at night, like reality shows, when the mind is numb and weak.

I did notice your attempt to post a link to infowars on the Boston thread but it was deleted. Now... THAT must just play into your paranoid fantasies, big time!

Yes, Reagan promised to get rid of the Dept of Education, but with Bill "Book of Virtues" Bennett, they actually doubled it's budget!

Bill Bennett, who wrote The Book of Virtues, while losing millions of dollars in Vegas, on, of all things, video poker! Not virtuous, and if video poker was his game, not very smart either. But then again, Reagan's administration was pretty dumb, setting the record as the most INDICTED administration in history, surpassing Nixon.

Dude claims he is "the father of Reaganomics"

and the poster has the nerve to say "I don't know that Paul would say the Reagan Administration did a good job on the economy front either. Paul was an advisor."

Whoa Nelly!

Calls himself the father of the disaster that is reagonomics and now the poster wants to say only a little ol' adviser no one ever listened to!

What a pile of crock! Why would anyone waste their time to read the trash they post at that looney fringe website?!?

Paul Roberts only redeeming feature is his opposition to the phony War on Terror. However, he consistently supports Palestinians over Israel.

Don't miss out on the discussion!
