Sorry, I mean they have selected our game as possibly being the game of the week. To make it happen we need to vote.
Editors, please can you change the first sentence of the above post.

If anyone has time to kill, votes are accepted every minute from the same computer. So someone can actually vote nearly 60 times in one hour. Our kids have too much homework to do that though. Hello, parents?

We are at present in the lead. It is going to take a lot more than 2 of us to do this. (I have no idea how many are doing it but if you are doing it, tell us here).
We can do this. Vote, vote, vote!!!

@KTVU watcher: Ha! I'm a stay-at-home mom. Will chip away at it when I can. I will also post to my Facebook Paly '82 reunion page which has over 300 members. And post it on the Gunn '82 Reunion page too. We all have good memories of the Paly/Gunn games.

Your plan is working well. When I first read your post DeLaSalle was at 94 and Paly was at 52. Not it is Paly 457 and DelaSalle 256.

It's only highlights so about 2.5 minutes on TV if we win here.
From KTVU:
"Good morning and thank you for your email! Yes, only the game highlights will be featured during our newscasts.
And yes, a user can vote every minute so if the user has time on their hands they can vote throughout the day Sunday – Thursday."

Thanks to all who are taking part, yes we are doing very well but I see that Freedom/Castro Valley are beginning to increase their votes, so please do not let up.
Yes, I know it is only highlights, but I think that just knowing the tv station is there and perhaps the chance of meeting some of the tv sports guys is exciting for both the players and also the fans.
Someone has to win so why not us?
Keep up the good work and vote, vote, vote.

Ha! I was just going to post about Freedom v. Castro Valley. They have someone sitting there, casting votes because they came out of nowhere. Been watching the last couple of hours. We are not out of the woods until the deadline.

Milpitas v. Valley Christian High are suddenly up to 825 when they were double digits this morning. They must have blasted out an email with a link.

We need help, how can we send out an email to get more votes?
Weekly staff, can you make this one of the "top stories" and help generate interest please.
Please tell everyone to vote, vote, vote.

We can send to Paly Yahoo Groups but just not sure if it's worth it for a few minutes on TV.

It seems Milpitas/SJ have groups casting votes because their votes are increasing at about 15 per few minutes. Unless they placed a bot, but not sure it's possible with having to press SAVE and then refresh and scroll.

If you really want to win, let them think they are winning. Then on Thursday at Noon, have Paly admin send out the link to the parents and students asking them to vote 3 times. The other teams won't have a chance to catch up because the voting ends at 6PM, Thursday.
But really, Palo Altans don't need their 2 minutes of fame on TV sports news. They find their way to the media by accomplishing more than sitting at a computer, voting all day long.

I can't believe it, our opposition has skyrocketed overnight.

I placed the link in the Paly eNews to parents which was sent today. Milpitas has too many people working on their votes, however. They start after school and into the night. Not worth my time anymore for the few minutes on TV.

The entire game will be televised on Monday, September 24 at 8:00PM, Channel 28. Why did we waste our time voting?
Paly 48, Gunn 0.
