What a wonderful article! It is difficult to capture the endearing toughness and bulls-eye vision of Dr. Nancy Packer, but this writer did a great job at bringing us into her presence. Now I can't wait to get the book!

Delighted to read this fine description of a fine writer whom I met long ago, i960, when she and my husband studied together in the Stanford Writing Program. We are of an age, and her ideas about writing fit my own well. That is very encouraging, i must say.
