Two mountain lions spotted in San Mateo County

In a matter of hours two mountain lions were reportedly spotted in different parts of San Mateo County Monday night (Jan. 9), San Mateo County emergency officials said.

The mountain lions have a right to be there. They are part of our environment. Until there are Way too many mountain lions coming too close or or attacking people, they should live their lives.
Recall that the animals were here FIRST.

I thought that jaguars and leopards were spotted, not mountain lions.

OMG. Mountain lions have been spotted in mountain lion country. What's next, fish in Crystal Springs?

Donald, wouldn't it be "two spotted mountain lions were spotted?" - I like your humor. Actually, mountain lion kittens are spotted and lose their spots about 8-10 months. Web Link

Experts say there are some 40 mountain lions in the Santa Cruz Mountains. If so, it's a miracle we don't see them more often. Enjoy them while we have them or until the gun toting cops find an excuse to shoot them again.
