Air district issues second 'Spare the Air' alert

For the second day in a row, the Bay Area Air Quality Management District is asking residents to refrain from burning wood.

Your headline is incorrect. The air district is not "asking" people not to use their fireplaces, etc. It is REQUIRING no wood burning.

You can smell the smoke around the neighborhood. It is choking all our kids. Please don't burn on sunny days! If you must, do your burning on rainy days, please. Thank you.

It would be informative if you could publish also the concentrations of particulate matter in micrograms per cubicmeter that the standard is trying to meet and where monitors report what these concentrations actually are during this period of alerts. If that's too much then at least give the web address for BAAQMD where one could easily look up such information.
