My goodness. From your article, I just learned I was at the same school as Steve Jobs in 1965, although he was older and wouldn't have known me. San Ramon Kindergarten Class of 1965. We lived on Dell Avenue. This was when the future Mayfield Mall was just a big meadow where we flew kites and chased rabbits. I didn't finish out the year at San Ramon because my parents bought a house in Los Altos and I switched to Hillview Elementary School.

I went to Monta Loma Elementary School with Steve and his sister Patty. As kids we called Steve "Egghead Jobs" because he was the smartest kid in school. Little did we know how prophetic that would be. I was also friends with the Hatt family. Monta Loma was the greatest neighborhood to grow up in.
