Man with a gun on Waverley

Original post made by Gun?, Old Palo Alto, on Jan 29, 2011

A couple of days ago our neighbors were out and saw a man throw a gun out of his car on Waverley near Embarcadero as the polcie were chasing him. Did anyone hear about this? Is it connected to the robberies? I looked in the papers but didn't see anything about it.

Check the police log on the city web site. The newspapers report only a small fraction of what is in the log.

The PAPD website lists it on teh 1/27 report log as a guy who threw "an object" out of the car and titles the report F&W/MISC.
Web Link looked that code up and it references a firearm Web Link
Is there a reason the police would want to be cryptic with that informaiton?
