Dalai Lama's visit with students to be televised

The Dalai Lama's visit with East Palo Alto eighth graders Wednesday afternoon (Oct. 13) will be televised live worldwide by the Palo Alto-based Midpeninsula Community Media Center.

At the risk of showing some irreverance toward His Holiness, the Dalai Lama, I am reminded of a rhyme by the humorist Ogden Nash:

"The one "l" lama," he's a priest

"The two "ll" llama," he's a beast

"And I bet you my silk pajama

"There's no such thing as a three "lll" lllama."
