Does anyone know what was going on??????????
I believe that was a police helicopter..something BIG must be happening for them to send it out (..and expensive..)

I also was wondering about this helicopter. It was a Sheriff's Dept unit. About 6:30pm a loudspeaker on the helicopter ordered a suspect to "come out with you hands up or we're sending in the dog". Seems like there would be some news about this. Is this the new normal?
The helicopter circled for quite a long time. The "suspect" was wearing a "black shirt and red" something (what it sounded like on the helicopter loudspeaker from my backyard on Los Robles). Couldn't find out anything on tv, radio or internet. Mysterious.
The helicopter was there for a suspect who ran away from an officer after stealing some stuff. The helicopter belongs to the Sherrifs Department and Palo Alto doesnt get charged for it. Its pretty standard in other places to bring in the helicopter for this type of incident so dont worry, its not a big deal.
