I didn't see any mention of the bastardized version of Open Carry that is practiced here in California mentioned anywhere in the article.
Unless you are somehow trying to spin "brandish" into legal open carry?
Carry on!

SHe appears to be a former stanford medical student.
She does not seem to be a "Stanford doctor" that is, one who is employed at Stanford.

1. A pellet pistol is not a firearm.
2. A pellet gun can be construed as a weapon akin to a slingshot, a pepper spray or a broom.
3. Brandishing a weapon in the perceived defense of property against invasion is the only way to let the invader know to halt.
4. Women in isolated areas have every right to "brandish" a weapon for defense, lest they join the "Dial 911 and Die" club.
5. The challenger of the property line has a well established machinery to resolve the difference that will, in consequence of the resolution, find the Sheriff giving the notice. This is bad mojo.
