Heavy rains cause accidents, traffic jams, floods

A heavy rainstorm that hit the Bay Area overnight is causing floods, accidents and traffic snarls throughout the region. The National Weather Service issued a flood advisory for several Bay Area counties this morning, including Santa Clara and San Mateo counties.
