Safeway clerk sentenced for dealing drugs

Cayetano Figueroa-Fernandez, a 32-year-old stock clerk at the Safeway supermarket on El Camino Real in Menlo Park, was sentenced to eight months in San Mateo County jail on Monday (Feb. 8) after pleading no-contest to two felony counts of selling methamphetamines to an undercover informant in the store parking lot in May 2009, prosecutors said.
