PAMF offering H1N1 shots today for healthy adults and children

Original post made by Parent, Another Palo Alto neighborhood, on Dec 6, 2009

We went to the Mountain View location and they offered it to adults also even though not mentioned on their website. Wait outside in parking lot, then inside for shot. Very fast line but waited 35 min. No booster shots available.

Update on H1N1 vaccine availability as of December 6, 2009.

Due to the unexpectedly low turn out of high-risk children at our Sunday, December 6th H1N1 flu shot clinic, we are expanding our criteria to all children 6 months through 17 years and to all household contacts of infants under 6 months for the remainder our Sunday clinic. We will administer vaccine until we exhaust our supply.

The clinic is open today, Sunday December 6th until 5:00 at the following locations:

•Fremont Center, 3200 Kearney Street in Fremont

•Mountain View Center, 701 E. El Camino Real in Mountain View

•Palo Alto Center, 795 El Camino Real in Palo Alto

•Santa Cruz Main Office, 2025 Soquel Avenue in Santa Cruz

•Watsonville Office, 550 South Green Valley Road in Watsonville

We apologize for any inconvenience caused by turning away any non-high-risk children earlier in the day. This clinic is for registered PAMF patient only. We are not offering second doses at this time.

Someone said that PAMF PA offered shots and boosters but no shots to adults. Each location is making their own decisions, I guess.
