Alpine Road likely suicide victim identified

Donn Paul Reisen, 59, a resident of Alpine Road in Menlo Park, has been identified by San Mateo County Coroner Robert Foucrault as the person who was found dead in his vehicle Monday morning at Ford’s Field on Alpine Road.

Reisen died of a gunshot wound and the San Mateo County Sheriff’s Department believes Reisen committed suicide, although a final determination has not been made by the coroner.

Lt. Ray Lunny said that sheriff’s deputies attempted to do a welfare check on Reisen at 10:46 a.m. and then found him in his parked vehicle. Deputies had received reports that Reisen had threatened to commit suicide.
