If this shenanigan is a state-wide effort, as stated, then the state must be flush with cash again and overflowing with state grants which typically pay for gobs of unnecessary overtime so the police can watch for seat belt scofflaws. Apparently an increase in state taxes is no longer necessary, despite what the politicians claim. Hooray.
