Original post made on Feb 27, 2008

Great story by Arden Pennell--she really captured the special spirit of this event.
It is great that Tina Underwood and the CAC give our community the important opportunity to reflect on the people who every day really make a positive difference. There are always a lot of tears of gratitude at the CAC Sweetheart Awards, because it's witnessing love and caring in action. The CAC team deserves a Sweetheart award for this annual opportunity to say thank you.

What a great way to say "thank you" to those who make life just a little more special. And thank you to the CAC for doing it.

The Sweethearts event is an evening of joy to recipients of awards and their families, to the students and families who nominate Sweethearts, and to all who attend. Everyone goes home feeling good about what's right in the world.

How about a special award for the Sweethearts of the CAC for all the work they have done over the years?
