That was quite a spectacle. Helicopters, unmarked cars and a whole block of Middlefield blocked off to traffic. We may have to wait until somebody makes a statement or until the arrest report becomes public record before we know what the story is.

According to Palo Alto Police Sgt. Sandra Brown, several Palo Alto police officers were there to assist Mountain View police with what started as a traffic stop. We are trying to get more information now and will post a news story when possible.

I saw this too. It was quite an amazing operation. I've never seen anything like it in Palo Alto. THe cops wouldn't let me get close enough to see what was happening, but there were several civilian vehicles stopped on the roadway and multiple police vehicles. I am looking forward to reading the story.
