Where in Palo Alto can I dispose of old medications?

Original post made by Conscientious, Adobe-Meadow, on Jan 20, 2008

I have all kinds of meds to get rid of: expired, unexpired, prescription, OTC, ointments, liquids, pills.

Who will take them? Do pills have to be in original containers, or can I just dump all the pills together?

1) The Palo Alto Medical Foundation Pharmacy - Level A

2) The first Sat. of the month - hazardous waste disposal on Embarcadero Road. to about noon. The drop off site is just west of the Water Treatment Plant. Call PASCO for more information.
