Youth Community Services launches fund drive

Youth Community Services (YCS), a Palo Alto non-profit agency that recruits young people for service and learning programs, began a $50,000 fund-raising drive Tuesday with a former client attesting to the difference YCS can make.

This is something all teens should do. They can start with their required community service for school and then get into the habit of helping as a way of life. I commend them.

I applaud YCS for their many years of service to the communities of both Palo Alto and East Palo Alto. One of the unsung benefits of their programs is getting the youth of both communities to work together. Good luck on the campaign!
