This is important. In fact, we need more of this. As I traverse the highways that adjoin the foothills, I find myself wondering what this place would be like - and look like - if they were developed - it's not a pretty picture.

God Bless the Trues! Thank you for keeping the land as land, not another horrible subdivision!

There are too many people here already, and not enough places that reflect the beauty and natural areas of this area!

Although I can never realize home ownership in this area (although I was born and raised here when there were still farms, ranches, orchards and lots of open space), I applaud your decision to keep this open land.

Another word of Praise for the True's. I grew up in La Honda, went to school with Amber True, rode my horses through their land. Its such a beautiful place, and thinking back to my childhood spent in these hills brings tears to my eyes. I am so grateful that this wonderful place will be here for years to come, and won't just exist as fond memories of my youth. THANK YOU

Once again, the joined-at-the hip consortium POSTMROSD has capitalized on a tragedy, pitted family members against family members, and forced responsible land owners into what they glibly call "willing sellers". Some day a more unbiased and responsible writer will investigate and publish the harm these organizations have done to their victims on the Coastside and the land they take from them with such underhanded and unregulated tactics.
