Original post made by Ana, Downtown North, on Sep 3, 2007

I need to take my mom tomorrow to a dentist. She is visiting from overseas and she does not have insurance. Can anyone recommend a place to take her, please!!! Thank you.

Call Foothill College School of Dental Hygiene if its a non-emergency problem.

University of California, I think, has a dental school in San Francisco. It should be open. Free or reduced fees. University of the Pacific may also have a dental school there.

Please note that MOST American retirees do NOT have dental insurance. If you can find a free or low cost dentist, please tell the rest of us.

I would recommend my brother, who tried to tie up my tooth to the doorknob one time...but unfortunately (or fortunately), he has moved on to other things in life now that he has grown up......
Mary has the only information (above) that I am also aware of...
