Why was my post about Al Zawahari removed?

Original post made by Resident, Another Palo Alto neighborhood, on Jul 10, 2007

Please explain why you have twice removed my post about the Al Zawahari tape. I kept a copy of my post this time, and I want to understand what your reasoning is so I can post in an acceptable manner.

It is incomprehensible to me that you remove these threads with no explanation, especially when I have been paying attention for one year and followed all the "rules" I have been able to figure out from what you have deleted and what you have left. You leave diatribes with horrific name calling and slurs and supposedly factual "stories" with no links for supporting data...yet delete my post with no name calling and a link given to support my opinion.

Please explain.

Besides, If they left your stuff on they might also leave my response, and you probably wouldn't like that.
Try this - Present your grievance, then present the Israeli response and your rebutal.

Tyler: yes, I read and re-read that thread before posting. I must be dense, because i don't see how this was a resurrected topic ( it was a new tape with new evidence) and it is continually current because of congress and their almost weekly bringing it up. It didn't flame, it gave an opinion based on new data, and ( in my opinion) was as respectfully done as possible given the fact that it is by someone who has vowed to destroy America.

the only thing that was true about it was that it IS a Middle East topic. So, if your point is to stop all Middel East topics, then i get it.

It feels, to me, more like dampening news.

Walter, you clearly did not see the thread either time. I suspect you would agree with what I wrote. Check out the thread about July 4th fizzling and you will see what I am talking about.

But, I wasn't looking for either agreement or disagreement. I was expressing frustration at the almost total lack of awareness of the tapes released by Al Zawahari, and their meaning.

An honest discussion and exchange of ideas about these tapes would be good, but I tend to agree that it would unlikely happen in this forum. I posted just to increase awareness in an area which seems, to me, to be pretty unaware.

I agree with resident. I just happened to see his post before it was removed. He pointed out a recent tape by a radical Islamist that wants us dead. It is a real threat, not just paranoid rantings.

I have read many posts on this site that riducle Bush about his stance on the wars against the radicals in the Middle East, and elsewhere. Resident's post provided a little balance.

How would you like it if I posted that sort of garbage about Jewish leaders?

By the way, I watched the entire video, and I challenge you to explain exactly what Al Zawahiri said that was so hateful.

Dr. Ferragamo,

I am neither a Jew nor a Christian. I am an agnostic. I was raised as a nominal Catholic, but I gave that up when I was 12 years old. So your religious bias will not work on me.

Radical (fundamentalist) Islam attacked the U.S. on 9/11 (and before). I have nothing to apologize about. It is a fact.

Why not just put the facts out there, then debate them? I am quite willing to debate with you about Al Zawahiri's views, IF this thread is put back up, from the beginning. It is a very important issue - in fact, it is one of the most important debates in the last decade.

I hope you would join me in requesting that the Weekly actually take on real, and controversial issues, like this one.

Actually, this is the sort of thing I would love to see happen. I would love to see posts from everyone to support their stances. For example, Ferragamo could give me a link to someone who is translating the video differently, and then I could figure out which translation I trust more. That sort of thing.

I really like links to actual sources, like videos by the leaders he claims to have said this or support his stances. I try to always back up my claims with links, I would love it if we all did that for each other. I have an open mind, if someone can show me where I am in error, I am free to change me mind.

I don't trust anyone to interpret a story for me, much preferring the source.

Maybe we could have a "footnoted" thread, whereby every opinion needs to be backed by a link to a source? I am not being facetious, I would love it.

That would stop a lot of the junk that gets said..can't source calling names, for example. can source certain statements or actions from various folks.

It's not okay to make overtly racist remarks about Muslims or anyone else.

And I noticed that you failed to cite Al Zawahiri's exact words that were so offensive.

And for the record, Zionist Jews attacked USA on 9/11.

Dr Ferragomo--would you care to provide any proof that Zionist Jews attacked the US on 9/11.
I find it hard to believe that anyone would actually believe that story!!! It appears, according to some, people that the jews are behind every disaster and case of malfeasance in the world. the jews make a handy scapegoat for you and your ilk. Very sad, indeed.
As we all know muslim extremists led by AlQeida and Osama Bin Laden were behind 9/11. That is clear to the majority of the civil world. the jews didn't do it--get over it--I know you are disappointed.
I noticed that your posts, in your various incarnations/disguises, make hateful comments against Israel/Jews. However you seem to get your knickers in a twist when someone makes a critical, not necessarily a hateful comment, about Muslims.

Proud jew,

Your last post was in violation of the Town Square's standards of respectfulness and truthfulness, but it's common for Zionist Jews to be very rude and racist in this forum.

That said: Why did Jewish terrorists try to sink the U.S.S. Liberty in June 1967?

And why were the U.S.S. Liberty survivors instructed to shut up about the attack or face prison?

Answer: The attack on the U.S.S. Liberty was a false-flag attack designed to entice USA to attack Egypt.

Same goes for the King David Hotel bombing in 1946, where Jewish terrorists disguised themselves as Muslims to bomb British military in Jerusalem, murdering 91 people.

Same goes for the Lavon Affair, where Jewish terrorists bombed American and British targets in Cairo in the summer of 1954, hoping to pin the blame on Muslims.

Same goes for the 9/11 attack: You just don't want to admit it.

And what did we get out of the 9/11 attack?

We got millions of smoldering dead Muslims.

And who exactly wanted that outcome? Was it Muslims? Or was it Jews?

It's also interesting how Zionist Jews have not thanked USA for destroying our nation in order to murder Zionists' enemies.

Zionist Jews won't be satisfied until we have many more piles of smoldering dead Muslims.

"Bring the troops home? Are you kidding?" insists the Zionist Jew.

Even Michael Chertoff, with his dual American and Israeli citizenship, is now predicting the Muslims will attack USA again this summer.

So ask yourself honestly: Why would Muslims want to attack USA? Why would Muslims want more dead Muslims?

Try all you want - there's no denying that Jewish terrorists are lusting for more Muslim blood, something they might achieve with another 9/11 attack while GWB is still in office.

Sorry, but further commenting on this topic has been closed.
