Rival gangs fuel EPA shootings, police believe

The wave of shootings in East Palo Alto -- 19 people were shot in the first 22 days of the year, including three homicides -- was caused by conflict between street gangs, East Palo Alto Police Chief Ron Davis say police believe.

the shootings in east palo alto were gang related between the surenos of redwood city and around the area it was between them and the norteno gangs of epa such as the vagos and the little norteno gang (LNG)
