Big-rig crash snarls traffic on Highway 101

All lanes were cleared on U.S. Highway 101 in Redwood City around 5:30 p.m. Tuesday after a big-rig collision prompted a nearly five-hour cleanup operation and sent two people to local hospitals.

This was a JLS family, the child is a 6th grader, and the mother died.

Yes, it's very sad. Life is indeed fragile. . . I can't imagine such a loss. . .
