Anyone Know If Any Restruants/Cafes Have Wi-Fi Avail.

Original post made by anonymous, Another Palo Alto neighborhood, on Apr 16, 2007

Howdy folks, was wonderin' if anybody out there knows if we've got any eating or drinking establishments in town (besides Starbuck's) that offers free wi-fi to its patrons?

Would love to hear any responses> thanks!

Yes, Douce France at Town and Country has wireless. Great little place. Teeming with French pastry calories, wonderful coffee, quiches, rolls and muffins, unbelievable cakes and goodies, salads, terrific soups. Hard to get to right now but parking is not too far away. It's across from where Cook Book of blessed memory used to be. Worth the short walk., There's a good pizza place a few doors away.

So does Printer's Inc Cafe on California Ave -- they have outdoor/indoor seating, good coffee, sandwiches, and of course free WiFi.

In Midtown there are two places with free wifi - Palo Alto Cafe on Middlefield in the Midtown shoppping area and Creme de la Cafe on the corner of Middlefield and Loma Verde.

With regards to Coupa Cafe - I very much enjoy their cafe, especially their mexican hot chocolate but I have heard, for what it is worth, that they turn off the wifi on the weekends to increase table turnover. I have not experienced this myself but a good friend said she encountered that issue at Coupa.

Most McDonalds have free wi-fi, of course. The store just south of Palo Alto Square has a lovely dining room, easy chairs, feels like a coffee shop, AND has coffee not too hot, not too cold.
