New Rector Debuts Sunday at Holy Trinity Episcopal Church

Original post made by Linda Hubbard Gulker, Menlo Park, on Mar 13, 2007

The new rector of Holy Trinity Episcopal Church, the Rev. Michael Spillane, will make his first Sunday appearance at all four services – 8:00 am, 9:10 am (family service), 10:00 am, and 5:00 pm – this Sunday, March 18. A “get-acquainted” supper to welcome him follows at 6:00 pm.

Father Mike, the church’s 16th rector, returns to the Bay Area, where he attended seminary, from the Diocese of Idaho. There he led a suburban Boise parish, the Church of Holy Nativity, through a growth spurt, focusing on children, youth and family ministries. He brings with him his wife, Julie, and two children, Brendan (12) and Kim (8).

Holy Trinity is located at 330 Ravenswood (at Laurel) in Menlo Park. For information about services, Sunday school and activities, call 326-2083 or visit the website, www.trinitymenlopark.org.The parish consists of the church, Trinity School (preschool through 5th grade), and the Child and Family Institute.
