I would like to celebrate the great efforts of the Americans and British and Iraquis and so many others, who have suffered so much to bring about this human rights justice.
Burn in hell, saddam. You sick bastard!

Amen. Or better yet, Inshallah :-)
I feel safer now.
Scary how there are so many people like "752 days left of Bush" who have no clue how the psyche of dictators and their followers works.
These are the same kind as the people who didn't believe Hitler was really burning Jews ( and Catholics and Gays and Disabled) up in ovens and really meant to take over Europe, though reports had been leaking out ( and covered up by the New York Times..nothing changes) ...the same people who dismissed Hitler and Mussolini as nutcases to be ignored, and protested that we shouldn't go fight Germany since is was Japan who attacked us. In those days the idiots who couldn't understand that it was FASCISM we were fighting in all its forms, not just a little island called Japan, were Republicans, now it is the Democrats....these are the same people who today don't understand that fascism in the guise of Islamofascism is throughout this world and determined to regain the "glory days" of domination by the sword...... There is no talking to a sword, a gun, a bomb or an IED.....
My big fear is that, with the constant brainwashing by "news" outlets who do not put any news in perspective and screen out news that makes the military or the progress in Iraq look good, now we are sliding toward Chamberlain-think,,,,and will have to slide into a war much worse than necessary, like what happened in WW2, before the Democrats wake up.
In the meantime many more people will die than would have otherwise before we all pull together. How many millions would have been saved if we had listened, believed and DRAWN THE LINE back in 1938 and 1939?
How much further along would Iraq be, where 80% of the adult Iraqis VOTED in the last election, among threats of DEATH, if all the democracies, or even just OUR country, had pulled together and firmly supported Democracy in Iraq? I blame the constant propoganda of the left wing for fueling the hopes of the anti-democracy dictatorship hopefuls, and thus fueling the sectarian violence.
I have no doubt that if even just WE, in the USA, were 100% behind the 80% of the Iraqis, the rest would have given up long ago. The blood of the people dying now is on the hands of people like "752 days left". That blood comes from the encouragement by our left.
752, please read your history. Go read what Chamberlain and his supporters said. Go read how Churchill and his supporters were reviled as a paranoid, war mongering fools. Learn history, and then tell your friends..or we will repeat WW2.. Only this time many more will die and suffer than did in WW2
Luckily the Iraqis have closed this chapter in their history with a decisive slam.. a clear message to remaining Baathists that the corner is turned. Amen. Or..InSh'Allah..Their FIRST, ever, full and honest trial is done, in spite of the killing of lawyers and judges and their families, ( gosh, I wonder who was killing them??).
If only the Germans had had the help to do the same to Hitler before being overwhelmed by the tide of history. Maybe more of us would have known our grandparents and aunts and uncles.
R.I.P. Saddam
nouri al maliki is a sketchball
Saddam Hussein was presiding over a relatively peaceful nation until American Zionists and Israeli Zionists transformed it into a living nightmare.
Any fool would know that willfully dismantling a factious nation's entire power structure is pure evil.
