Every Thanksgiving and Christmas the local food banks campaign hard for our dollars. And it's hard to say no. After all, who is in favor of hunger. But have you ever looked at how easy it is to get food stamps. The program is called food stamps but you actually get a credit card you can use in the supermarket check-out line, I guess to spare the recipient the indiginity of having to use stamps.
Anybody can get food stamps by filling out a simple piece of paper. If you're illiterate, a government employee will help you. The government, by law, can't discriminate against illegal aliens when it comes to food stamps.
So who are these people that benefit from food banks?
