Great Activities at Palo Alto Relay for Life, Aug 19-20

Original post made by Theresa Carey, Crescent Park, on Aug 18, 2006

Come on out to the Palo Alto High School track (off Churchill) and support the teams raising funds for the American Cancer Society! Activities begin at 10AM with the Opening Ceremonies, then the Relay kicks off with a ceremonial lap by cancer survivors.

There will be a variety of performers to entertain you as the relay participants stay on the move.

At 6:30PM, local star Nya Jade will perform, followed by the moving Luminaria Ceremony. Stop by to dedicate a luminaria to a loved one who has fought cancer.
