The Palo Alto football team defeated host Saratoga, 28-14, on Friday night to wrap up an undefeated season in the SCVAL De Anza Division at 6-0. The triumph closed the regular season, giving the Vikings a 10-0 record for the first time since 1950. Senior quarterback Christoph Bono complete 11 of 15 passes for 201 yards and three touchdowns to lead Paly, which most likely will receive the No. 1 seed for the Central Coast Section Open Division playoffs that begin next weekend. Paly is ranked No. 18 in the state by Cal-Hi Sports.
