The USA Women's Junior National Team stayed undefeated on the week with a 14-0 rout of New Zealand Friday evening in Los Alamitos.
Madeline Rosenthal (Miami, FL/Raider WP) poured in four goals to lead the offense and Sami Hill (Santa Barbara, CA/Santa Barbara) did the job in net impounding 12 shots.
The USA cruised in this one opening up a 3-0 lead after the first and never looking back. They led 7-0 at halftime, 9-0 after the third and then closed out the match with five goals in the fourth for a 14-0 win.
Team USA went 2/3 on power plays while New Zealand struggled going 0/6. The United States was 1/1 on penalties and New Zealand was 0/1. The red, white, and blue are back in action Saturday against Canada.
