A game that was supposed to start at 7:30PM didn't get underway until shortly after 10PM. Palo Alto spotted Woodland 5 runs in the top of the first, but came back to tie the game 11-11 in the fifth. Then the sprinklers came on, delaying the game even further. Palo Alto finally sealed the deal at 1:30AM with a 16-13 victory. The team's chilly fans will return to Vallejo on Thursday, July 22, for the 5:30PM championship matchup against the winner of Wednesday's Hayward-Woodland game.
