Palo Alto Post 375 dropped a 12-6 decision to host San Carlos in an American Legion 19-under baseball game on Tuesday evening. Palo Alto starter Scott Witte was tagged for eight runs in the first three innings, giving up a two-run triple to Menlo-Atherton grad Jeff Keller in the third. Keller also doubled in a run in the fifth and added a single.

Witte did help his team at the plate, geting an RBI single to end the shutout in the third and driving in another with a single during a three-run fourth.
