It will be No. 2 Old Pro and No. 4 Bike Connection battling for honors on Saturday in the Palo Alto Little League City Tournament (Majors) at Middlefield Ballpark. First pitch is at 2 p.m.

Bike Connection can make it a short weekend with a victory, since it is the only unbeaten team left in the double-elimination tourney. Should Old Pro win Saturday, a challenge game between the same teams will be played Sunday at 3:30 p.m.

Bike Connection advanced with an 8-7 triumph over No. 6 seed Stanford Electric in the semifinals on Thursday at Middlefield.

Bike Connection grabbed a 5-0 lead in the top of the fourth before Stanford Electric rallied for five runs in its half of the inning as Albert Han highlighted the comeback with a three-run homer.

Bike Connection retook the lead with a run in the fifth on a bases-loaded hit by Shiv Matta. Again, Stanford Electric rallied with two runs in the bottom of the inning.

Bike Connection pushed across the tying and winning runs in the sixth as Calvin Wang walked and Andrew Schloss singled. Two throwing errors and two wild pitches eventually allowed both runners to score. Eli Friedlander pitched the final 1 2/3 innings to get the win while Matt led a 15-hit attack with four hits, three of them doubles. He also drove in two runs while Schloss had three RBI.
