The Palo Alto Oaks ran their season record to 4-0 with a double header sweep of the visiting Monterey Baysox, 4-1 and 9-0, at Baylands Athletic Center on Sunday. In the opener, San Jose State's Tyler Christian picked up the win in relief and Greg Matson pitched the final 2 1/3 innings to notch the save. Christian not only notched the win, he also knocked in the deciding run in the fourth inning following a double by Shane Parsons double. In the second game, Matt Campbell improved to 2-0 as Vince Gutierrez of San Jose State produced four hits while Allan Stiles had three hits and drove in four runs.
