The Palo Alto 93 Blue boys' soccer team overcame an early 2-0 deficit to beat Mountain View-Los Altos 3-2 in overtime to win the U-17 NorCal State Cup on Saturday May 8 in Turlock. Riley Hanley had all three goals for Palo Alto. The winning score was set up by Zac Hummel. He dribbled aggressively to the MVLA goal where two defenders tripped him in the box setting up the winning penalty kick by Hanley. This is the second major tournament win for the team this year. In March they won the Northern California Spring Showcase.
