Palo Alto junior Maurice Williams won three events and ran a leg on the winning 400 relay that clocked a season-best 43.92 to spark the Vikings in a 68-59 victory over host Los Altos to close the SCVAL De Anza Division dual-meet season on Thursday. Williams won the 100 (11.81), the long jump (21-0) and the triple jump (41-11 3/4) to help offset seven wins by the Eagles. In addition to running on the 400 relay, Daniel Jones stepped up and won the 400 (52.89) to lead an important sweep while Kevin Anderson (41-0) led a sweep in the shot put. Paly's Miles Anderson won the 200 and Henry Jordan took the 3200 for the Vikings (5-1), who will host the league championship meet next Thursday.
