Michael Brandi smashed his second home run of the day in the top of the 10th inning to provide the winning margin as Menlo College bounced back after blowing a late six-run lead to defeat Redlands 9-6 on Friday morning.
The Oaks let a 6-0 lead slip away over the seventh and eighth innings, but refused to open its weekend trip on a deflating note. Shane Parsons led off the 10th inning with a walk and Chris Mazza followed with a single to left field. C.J. Dailey moved both runners over with a sacrifice bunt that prompted the Bulldogs to intentionally walk designated hitter Kyle Wilkerson to load the bases ahead of Brandi.
Records: Menlo 10-8; Redlands 15-3
