Austin Staab's third-place finish in the 100 fly in a time of 46.37 highlighted action for the Stanford men's swimming team on the first day of the Texas Invitational on Thursday. Nate Kim finished second in the 1-meter diving event for the Cardinal, which stands in fifth place. Texas took the first day lead with Arizona just behind in second. The meet, with once and future Olympians competing unattached, continues through the weekend.
