Gunn experienced a bounce back game after Tuesday's competitive 1-0 loss much to host Monta Vista's dismay. Gunn showed their offensive potential in the second half scoring five goals. It started within the first minute of the half. Jorge Salazar directed an indirect kick into the box with Sam Hayward collecting and finishing into the net. Within 7 minutes Paul Morimoto's header goal assisted by Greg Albrecht's flick header off Scott Baer's throw-in. Later Baer scored on a two touch from Enzo Cabili's pass. At the 68th minute Cabili gathered a through ball pass from Greg Albrecht. Cabili forced Monta Vista's Keeper to commit and coolly finished his first goal of the season. Cabilii finished Gunn's scoring for the afternoon scoring on a nicely placed through ball up the middle from Renzo Ortiz. Gunn's shutout was supported well by strong defensive efforts led by Michael Starr, Konrad Guzinski, Sterling Hancock and Kenji Frahm, along with Keaton Smith in goal. Gunn's record moves to 3-1 in league, overall 4-6-1 while Monta Vista is 0-3 and overall 5-5-1.
