The Priory girls' soccer team advanced to the semifinals of the Palo Alto Winter Classic after beating Los Altos in penalty kicks, 4-3, in a quarterfinal match on Thursday. The Panthers (1-0-2) trailed late in regulation while standout Massiel Castellanos sat following a heavy weekend of club action. She entered the match with 15 minutes to play and scored within 30 seconds to send it to penalty kicks. There, Priory got PKs from Lauren Allen, Alyson Perna, Sarah Zuckerman and Castellanos to move on. Priory will face Palo Alto in one semifinal on Friday at 4 p.m. on the El Camino field.
