The Palo Alto boys' water polo team qualified for its first Central Coast Section championship match since 1997 by topping No. 3 Leland, 13-9, in a Division I semifinal match Tuesday night at Bellarmine Prep. The No. 2-seeded Vikings (19-7) got four goals from senior Geng Wang, three from junior Tim Wenzlau and 14 blocks from senior goalie Will Simon.
