Eastside Prep senior Darryl Sepulveda ran away with individual honors while Menlo School took the team honors in the West Bay Athletic League’s second boys’ cross-country meet of the season on Thursday at Shoreline Park in Mountain View. Sepulveda raced over the three-mile course in 17:08 to win by five seconds. The Panthers, however, finished sixth as a team. Menlo had Sam Parker finish third in 17:14, Lowry Yankwich sixth in 17:47 and Lucas Sokolsky seventh in 17:52 as the Knights scored 56 points to easily defeat Harker (75) for team honors. Andrew Schmitt (18:31) was 16th and Menlo teammate Michael Machlin 24th (18:38) to round out the team scoring.

Hector Lopez of Eastside Prep was eighth in 17:53 with Zach Kaplan of Sacred Heart Prep ninth in 17:56 and Arnaud Kpachavi of Priory 10th in 18:01.
