The Menlo-Atherton boys’ water polo team cruised past visiting Aragon 21-1 in a Monday afternoon PAL match.

Aragon’s lone goal came on a 5-meter penalty shot midway through the second period, trailing 14-0.

The Bears reserves saw lots of playing time and freshman Zach Deal found the back of the net 3 times off the bench. Seniors Zander Rohn and Jed Springer led all scorers with 5 tallies each.

The victory improves fifth ranked M-A’s record to 10-4 overall and 4-1 in the PAL Bay Division.

Coach Johnny Bega’s Bears next host Woodside at 4PM on Thursday at M-A’s Spieker Pool.
