The Menlo-Atherton boys' water polo squad traveled to the Sequoia High School pool on Wednesday and posted a 19-9 victory over the Cherokees in a PAL Bay Division match. The Bears (3-1, 5-3) got eight goals from 6-foot-9 senior Jed Springer, who also had four steals. Paolo McCarty, Zander Rohn, Nick Henze and Hunter Carmichael each added two scores for the Bears. Goalie Alex Gow made 12 saves in the cage while Max Wilder assisted on four of the goals.

Oscar Andaluz found the back of the net four times for Sequoia and Matt Draper scored twice.

In the Junior Varsity contest, M-A prevailed by a score of 17-5. Zach Deal led the way with six goals and Jake Bercow tallied three.
