Menlo-Atherton rolled to a convincing 21-5 win over the visiting Burlingame Panthers on Wednesday afternoon in a PAL Bay Division boys' water polo match.
The Bears (2-0) were led by 6-foot-10 two-meter man Jed Springer, who posted six goals along with three steals. Andrew Higgitt contributed five assists and Brian Hohl returned from a back injury to score three times off the bench. Burlingame was led by Jared Fox's 2 scores.
In the Junior Varsity contest Zach Deal's 4 tallies led the Bears to 13-2 victory. Michael Hohl accounted for 4 steals and Harrison Holland-McCowan had 2 assists.
M-A is co-hosting the Scott Roche Invitational this Friday and Saturday along with Menlo School.
