Palo Alto scored 35 points in the first half and coasted to a 49-16 romp over visiting Los Altos on Friday night to cap homecoming and wrap up second place in the SCVAL De Anza Division for the Vikings (5-1, 7-2). Will Brandin threw touchdown passes to Brooke Seaman (21 yards) and a pair to Mike Scott (29 and 19) and finished with 207 yards on just nine completions to pace the Vikings' offense. Kevin Johnson returned a pass interception 15 yards to give Paly a 7-0 lead and Seaman's TD catch made it 14-7. Paly outscored the outmanned Eagles 21-3 in the second quarter to wrap things up.
