Stanford graduate Jason Dunford, representing his native country of Kenya, swam to sixth place in the finals of the 50-meter butterfly on Monday at the FINA World Championships in Rome, Italy. Dunford was seeded eighth in the eight-man final, but moved up two spots with his 23.07 finish. Former Cal star Michael Cavic won the race in 22.67. No Americans made the final.
