The Stanford Red 18s won its second straight match on the opening day of the S&R Sport Junior Olympics with a 13-4 dunking of De Anza Blue at Palo Alto High. De Anza Blue is comprised of primarily Bellarmine players and led by Bellarmine coach Larry Rogers. Stanford University-bound Paul Rudolph scored four times to pace Stanford while Scott Bishop added three with Miguel Martin de Bustamante, James Balassone and Matthew Goodenough contributed two each.
